Mods unite as Paul Weller designs for Liam Gallagher

Modfather Paul Weller will release his own line under Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green label.


Having taken the name of the chain from a Jam hit, Gallagher has now enlisted Weller to assist with the Pretty Green summer collection.


Whilst taking time off the road Weller designed a selection of shirts, tootal style scarves and leather jackets. The new range will act as a preview, with a larger collection by Weller available for Winter.


Speaking of his latest foray into fashion, Weller told press: "I've wanted to design my own range for some time and Pretty Green felt like a good home for my clothes" he said. "My main design reference is somewhere between 1968 and 1970. The clothes themselves sit between being smart and casual with quality materials and tailoring."


The six limited edition pieces will go into stores and online from 23 June, whilst mod fans will have to wait until autumn to get their hands on pea coats and tailored suits.
