Albert Geiger, 92, tries on his selection at the annual Coat Extravaganza at New LIfe United Methodist Church on 5th Avenue on Wednesday morning. "I sure needed it," he said, and explained that his winter coat was thrown in a dumpter by exterminators ridding his apartment building of bedbugs while he was in the hospital last Spring. He received his coat just in time as temperatures are forecast to dip to the freezing mark by the end of the week.
