Mulberry considers a brand extension after phenomenal sales

Chairman and chief executive officer of Mulberry Godfrey Davis has told reporters that he wants to wait until the brand has sufficient presence worldwide before extending the brand name, a situation that the company is fast approaching.

Mulberry has posted a 42 percent rise in retail sales in stores open at least a year for the 10 weeks to 4 June. Overseas revenue for the retailer more than doubled to £40.5 million for the year ended 31 March.

My-Retail Media will certainly be keeping an eye on this iconic British brand as U.K. retailers in London have recently benefitted from a bumper quarter thanks to the Royal wedding and the ensuing Anglomania.
