It's been a pretty awful weekend for news. The events in Norway continue to beggar belief, particularly in such an easy going country. There was the death of the singer, Amy Winehouse, whom whilst I've never particularly liked, is never a nice thing. In the UK, the papers have been under scrutiny with the News International phone tapping scandal. Other papers have been quick to point the finger at them too.
So, with all this background, how do the newspapers handle this weekend? Most of them have covered either story and thankfully, there is a lack of sensationalism in their headlines. Then, at the end of the row is the "Sport" which leads with the headline - "Rebekah Brooks nude pics shock".
This is why I don't like newspapers.
