A scooters rushes past debris from an accident after a small car and SUV collided at the center of a four-way intersection near Ido Apartments in Jeju City, South Korea.
This happened at a busy junction where the lights switch over to flashing amber at about 11pm even though traffic continues to be heavy well after midnight. If you don't force people to stop with red lights in Korea, people just taxi stop or continue right through the intersection without stopping at all.
Despite the ever increasing size of the city and traffic on its narrow roads, there's still a major shortage of traffic lights and even stop signs to prevent more accidents like this from happening. Fortunately, nobody was hurt seriously. The cars on the other hand... ouch!
