RAF Goxhill, Lincolnshire.

A collection of pictures taken on 25th April 2011 of Goxhill Airfield. RAF Goxill , though initially used by the RFC during the first war, and for a short time by Bomber Command in the second will always be remembered for the unity created between the villagers of Goxhill and the trainee airmen and pilots of the US Airforce stationed there between 1942 and 1945.

These pictures represent the bond between those airmen and the locals, a bond which still exists today.
