A Turkana elderly woman in Norther Kenya, prepare Sorghum for home use Turkana West which is under irrigation program on August 2, 2011 this time when other part of Turkana experience hunger and starvation , for them they got a pamper harvest of the Sorghum, they have been assisted by the Ministry of Water and irrigation in partner with World Food Program to teach the local irrigation farming, on every one hectares they harvest five to eight bags of sorghum which takes just three months to mature.
