"The summer of 2011" -- The Apocalypse

Listening to all the coverage, I am torn between hilarious laughter -- e.g. NY awaiting a Tsunami wave -- and disbelieve about the amount of panic.

News sound more like an impending Apocalypse with everyone crying "The sky is falling" with images of "2012" or "The day after tomorrow" and other Roland Emmerich movies coming to mind.
